BOHS Principal Examiner in Asbestos

Sam started in the asbestos industry approximately 20 years ago as an analyst and surveyor, undertaking building surveys, bulk analysis, auditing licensed removal contractors, and conducting air-testing and clearance procedures before moving across to quality management and training.

She has since been an independent asbestos consultant working as Lead Auditor for the Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP), Chairperson of the Hampshire Health Safety and Environment Group (HHSEG), as a member of the Female Analyst Working Group (FAWG) and as Deputy Registrar of the Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management (FAAM).

Sam is also the Principal Examiner for asbestos at the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) where she oversees all their asbestos related proficiency and competency qualifications both within the UK and worldwide.
