Andrew Paten is the co-founder of UKNAR (UK National Asbestos Register), a new social enterprise established to help management and dutyholders manage asbestos simply and safely, while also better informing and educating those people who may be at risk.
Andrew believes that by using inexpensive, easy to use QR SMART technology, developing a national database and working with leading asbestos support organisations and research charities, it is possible to limit future accidental asbestos exposures and help prevent thousands of deaths occurring as a result of asbestos related diseases.
