Federica is the well-known Senior Researcher of the Italian INAIL and has worked as a researcher in the asbestos sector since 1996. Since 1999, she is the Team Leader of the Asbestos Risk Research Group for INAIL and as such has great experience in supervising many research activities. She has completed many national and international research programs, in cooperation with several research centers and institutes worldwide. Also, she is a member of many national and international standardization associations such as ISO, CEN, UNI, IWWG and ASTM. In her presentation, she will present on the issues concerning workers’ health and environmental protection in asbestos denaturation (destruction) plants.
