Linda Reinstein became a public health advocate after her husband, Alan, was diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2003. Realising that this fatal disease kills many people yearly, she co-founded the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) in 2004.
Now serving as President and CEO, Reinstein is a strong political voice for justice in every major asbestos-related issue. She has presented persuasive testimony and keynote speeches in more than 18 countries and frequently serves as Congressional witness.
Focused on occupational and environmental disease prevention, Reinstein’s proficiency in the powerful social media advocacy has greatly increased the effectiveness of ADAO’s core mission of education, advocacy, and community support to a worldwide audience.
