Marco Camboni is an environmental economist specialised in advising international, European and national policymakers on environmental policies. Marco is the Managing Director of RPA Europe S.R.L. and an Associate of Risk & Policy Analysts Ltd. He has over fifteen years’ experience working in the fields of economics, risk management, and policy development covering areas such as: chemicals, water pollution, air quality, climate change, industrial accidents, hydrogen technologies, nanomaterials, polymers, waste, consumer redress mechanisms, public procurement, and environmental liability. He has recently managed a project for the European Commission DG Environment investigating asbestos management practices and treatment technologies, and he is currently working on a project for the European Commission DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion aiming to develop a guidance document for the safe management of asbestos at work.
